Prodigy Tha Kid, also known as “PTK,” is a 21-year-old artist from Louisville, KY. He has been making his own music for over 10 years. Prodigy is known for songs, such as “Modelo,” “No Fear,” “Overthinking,” and more. His 2023 album, “10 Year Rookie,” was a culture shock for the city of Louisville, as it gained 10,000 streams in its first two days of release. It features heavy hitters, such as 4TUNAT, Kaleb Mitchell, NOX!, Allen Vice, and more. PTK has always made it a priority to push the boundaries of creation when it comes to Hip-Hop and Rap, especially in his city. His versatility ranges from boom bap, trap, and sample based songs onto metal, alternative rock, and pop based rap songs. As for the near future, PTK hopes to make sure his audience see where he stands when it comes to the local scene, as well as the start of his new collective, “save tha kidz.” He is currently working on ways to help the city of Louisville come together as a community through positivity.
