Hyryder - regarded as the Midwest’s premier Grateful Dead tribute band, has been captivating audiences with their riveting live performances since 2008. The quintet - Charlie Morgan (lead guitar, vocals), Nick Neureiter (drums, vocals), Eric Thompson (rhythm guitar, vocals), Blair Ping (bass, vocals) and Kirby Hammel (keyboards, vocals), is the embodiment of passion, devotion, and the unwavering love for the legendary band that influenced a generation. Their quest to keep the Dead's music alive has become their mission, and they carry this torch with distinction.

Hyryder's live performances are an immersive experience that transports the audience to a place where time ceases to exist. Their set lists are always unique, tailored to each show, allowing for a level of spontaneity that keeps even the most seasoned Deadheads on the edge of their seats. The band’s ability to recreate both the improvisational and composed aspects of Dead's music with such accuracy is breathtaking, with extended jams that take on a life of their own, culminating in moments of musical transcendence.

Over a decade of legendary shows across the Midwest has garnered them a loyal following that grows with every performance. Their appearances at The Mousetrap in Indianapolis are always eagerly anticipated, and their reputation has earned them a spot at the prestigious Skull & Roses Festival in Ventura, California, where they showcased their talents to an even wider audience. In 2023 Hyryder has played major sets at All In Festival, and Gratefulfest.

Hyryder's music is more than just a tribute to the Grateful Dead; it's a celebration of life, love, and the human spirit.
