Donavon Frankenreiter
For nearly two decades Donavon Frankenreiter has been traveling the globe, first as a professional surfer and now as a musician. Born in Southern California, Donavon spent most of his youth chasing waves, turning pro at the age of 16.
These days instead of surf competitions, it’s concert halls that bring Frankenreiter to town, where he entertains audiences with his unique blend of laid-back grooves, philosophical lyrics and soulful delivery.
This year, Frankenreiter released his first studio in 9 years on September 20, 2024. The album, entitled Get Outta Your Mind, marks the 20 year anniversary of his self-titled debut album.
Iris And The Shade
Iris And The Shade met at a random bar, on a random late night, on a random whim, after two decades of circling each other unknowingly in their hometown Dana Point. Their meeting began with a trip (Chase aka “The Shade” tripped Iris with his foot to meet her) and that began a love story full of grace and grit and lots and lots of music. Their porch singing and mutual musings pushed them to create the indie folk-rock duo called Iris And The Shade.
On tour Iris And The Shade will be sharing songs from their new album ~Cosmic Rollercoaster~ that was produced by Matt Costa.
They sound like the ebb and flow of the ocean; sweet and calm or rough and storming. Either way they have a story to tell as they continue to release new music and tour the United States during the summer 2025.
Their mission is to connect with others through music while positively contributing to the causes they care about. Iris and the Shade are passionate about the welfare of animals, de-crowding and increased funding of dog shelters, and the cleaning of their local beaches and oceans.
