You had to be there. But here’s your second chance.

Four fabled and utterly unique Louisville rock bands – Folks on Fire, Led Pelvis, Fanci Pantz, and Lemonade Hayride – are coming back together on Derby Eve for a new and old generation of indie music fans. Born from the vibrant and original music scene built around the Tewligan’s Tavern dance floor in the early ‘80s, these local legends will invite you to move your body, feel your soul, and Be Yourself … Again!

Folks on Fire. Hell yeah. The OG lineup is back to present their energetic take on love, science, human nature, and happy accidents. The Folks’ otherworldly sound highlights colorful and ethereal guitar tones, percussive dance breaks, and visionary vocals. FoF’s modern compositions and legendary live shows provide devoted fans – then and now – the rare opportunity to dance to art.

How many children were conceived after the sweaty, hormone-drenched Led Pelvis shows in the late ‘80s? Hard to say. Maybe you’re one of them. This thunderous, guitar-driven-yet-melodic rock machine’s brand of danceable heavy is BACK to help you reconnect with your inner rock beast. Movement not mandatory, but if you sweat through your shirt at our Derby Eve show, it does count for church on Sunday.

Jive, funk and jazz hands might be what you hear and see with the chaotic and electrifying Fanci Pantz. From Squirrel Bait to Love Jones, Mr. Ben Daughtrey has long dispensed unique original sounds and engaging live shows to Louisville and points beyond. His art/funk combo Fanci Pantz delivers let-loose grooves sure to help you find your flow and take a few dance floor risks.

Is there anything more enjoyable than a Lemonade Hayride? No, there’s not. And what do you expect when you combine some guys from La Grange, a couple of Hawley-Cooke employees, and a shared fascination with Indie Rock, Brit Pop, and Nipsey Russell. Lemonade Hayride’s witty, accomplished, melodic “Twee Pop” absolutely insists upon itself, and after their show, so will you. There’s nothing like a Lemonade Hayride.

Four legendary local indie bands, back together, one night only.
