Cassadee Blake Pope ; born August 28, 1989) is an American singer, song-writer, and musician. Pope was the lead vocalist of the rock band Hey Monday (on hiatus as of December 2011), with whom she released one studio album and three EPs. Pope embarked on a solo career in early 2012, and released Cassadee Pope EP in May 2012. She took part in the third season of The Voice and became the first female winner on December 18, 2012. Her debut solo country album, Frame by Frame, was released on October 8, 2013 to a top 10 Billboard 200 charting.
From the desert sands of Phoenix, Arizona, The Foxies was created. Mixing influences of Billy Idol and Blondie, front woman Julia Lauren adds glam pop from the late 70’s and early 80’s to the modern indie scene…unleashing an edgy eargasm of glitter revival. With hypnotic low guitars, groovy bass and drum pockets, light-airy keys and quirky vibrato vocals, The Foxies will make a bed in your head with their contagious hooky tunes. Wanderlusting and setting up camp in Nashville, TN, The Foxies have been promoting their Oblivion EP with shows all over the country, appearances at SXSW and Sundance Film Festival, and a feature on NOW That's What I Call Music 63, released in Summer 2017. The new single, "Be Afraid Boy," was released in April, 2018, a few months before festival gigs at Bonnaroo and Nashville's Live on the Green.
