DoorWay/Ron Whitehead/Hank Linderman/School of Rock Ensemble/Jeffery Parrish Photography –  A Benefit for Home Of The Innocents

DoorWay featuring Johnny Edwards, a Louisville-based Doors tribute Band, joined for this show by National Beat Poet Laureate, Ron Whitehead, and openers Hank Linderman (America and Timothy B. Schmit) and The School of Rock Ensemble – Doors at 7, Show at 8.

In support of Home of the Innocents and in collaboration with photographer, Jeffery Parrish, the Louisville Photo Biennial 2021 and The Louisville School of Rock, plan for a night of hometown charitable cause, muse and music, Beat poetry and a welcome throwback to Los Angeles 1967: Johnny Edwards (Foreigner), Pete Petersen, Kevin Keller and Larry Abrams as DoorWay and Beat Poet Ron Whitehead will revisit the spirit and music of Jim Morrison and The Doors.

At 6:30pm join members of DoorWay for a gallery walk of “DoorWay: Artists in Search of Music in a Pandemic” a themed photographic exhibit out of doors and socially distanced on the Lexington Road sidewalk at Headliners Music Hall. As part of the Louisville Photo Biennial 2021, gallery photographs printed on aluminum will be auctioned during show intermission with all proceeds going directly to Home of the Innocents.

A portion of ticket sales will contribute to a cash donation to Home of the Innocents.
